DSO did a show from '76 the other night with a nice Supplication jam after the LL. Looking for some long high energy versions that might stand out to some of you folks. Always love it when you link it to. Thanks a lot. Peace

Check out this Supplication jam into Let it Grow , from a rather ugh... uneven show ( Jerry bails on Terrapin, halfway through ).

My favorite show from 1982. Lightning was flying through the air as they sang LL. The Let it Grow is absolutely intense! This is one jamming night of music in the rain. Anyone who says nothing of worth happened in 80's missed this one.

This performance from a rather fun first set in Philly might be a bit more "high-energy"

naw...he knows there were snippits and a some grate moments for the boy's in the 80's. Just few and far between. I take good interest in all his show recommendations :)

I do wonder if the GD in the 80's, could actually play in their 1969 style, if they had actually tried. Was Jerry, Phil and the rest even physically capable?

I personally prefer the Kingfish treatment of Supplication. Robbie Hoddinott could really jam it out. 4/3/76 Beacon Theater (King Biscuit Flower Hour) comes to mind. Hoddinott really gets in the groove.

As far as the Grateful Dead, there is neat and oddly placed Supplication Jam at Nassau 3/29/85...

Another cool one from NJ on 11/10/85
